Prince William Sound
| Prince William Sound, nestled in the coastal arc of Alaska's Chugach Mountain Range, has over 20 glaciers terminating at sea level including the spectacular Columbia Glacier. It is home to numerous sea lions, seals, otters, bald eagles, whales, and dolphins. Also inhabiting the sound are a wide variety of sea birds including the playful puffin. Day cruises allow guests from all over the world to view the spectacular scenery, calving glaciers and marine wildlife and birds found in this remote part of Alaska. Bring lots of film since you will probably see things you've never seen before, even if you're an Alaskan! |
